Last season I had my Bushnell Scout 1000 Arc rangefinder ripped off my backpack by some thick briars while retrieving an 8pt I killed in Maryland. I didn't notice that it was gone until I returned to my home in Georgia. I was sick. This past March I returned to MD to visit the folks and retraced my steps to find my rangefinder, and find it I did! The best news is that it still worked. I took it home, cleaned the lenses and replaced the battery and it is as good as the day I took it out of the box.
I have heard a lot of people put down Bushnell products, but I have had great success with their scopes and my rangefinder. After last year's durability test, they have definately earned a place INSIDE my pack.
