what is your favorite time of day to hunt?

What time of day do you usually have the best success? I personally have better luck on evening watches where my uncle has better luck on morning watches. Some people like the afternoon watch. I know the longer you can stay out the better and some people hunt all day. I also know certain times of year you may have better luck at a certain time of day. I hunt at all different times but am mostly successful in the evening. Just curious what time everyone else is usually most successful.

For me it is dependent on where I am hunting. I have one property that is almost exclusively and an evening hunt and one that is a morning spot.

The hours I prefer to hunt are between the time I leave the house before sunup, and return before sundown. I really can't be more specific than that, although if I could hunt only for 2-3 hours, I'd choose the last 2-3 hours of the day.

If I HAD to choose, I'd pick evening hunts I guess...Just something about them!

I like the last 2-3 hours of the day. I like that warm glow on everything as the shadows get longer and the world gets quieter as the sun is slowly sinking behind the horizon.

I enjoy any time I can spend in the woods but late afternoon to early evening seem to be my most productive time.

I like to get out about 3:00 and hunt until dark thirty.(Assumes early season and daylight savings time). I like the fact that I don't usually bump deer going in to an afternoon stand. I don't have to wonder when would be the proper time to get out of the stand and go home because God shuts off the lights so that I know it's over.

I like hunting anytime of the day. Most days I'm in before sun up and out about 10. Then back in about 2. Some days I stay all day.

I'm still thinking about this one and I guess if I had to choose, I would pick the last 3-4 hours of daylight.
 
I have been blessed with 14 bucks of 2.5 or older and 9 of them were taken in late afternoon (6 of them right at sunset). I think I sit better in the afternoon. I am warmer, well fed and I do not have to worry about...well let's not go there again.
 
Early morning hunts have produced some of my most exciting "non-kills". Hard chasing, antler fights, and other cool rut stuff usually seems to happen for me during morning hunts.
 
I hope I never have to choose though.
