Yes, tampons do make great scent wicks. Just a piece of cotton with a string. And, I have talked to a gentleman who has used his wife's used tampon and he claims it works. I personally have not tried it.

ppl have been using them for years...actually I did as well until one hunt I forgot to bring one in when I left...next day I was in a differant stand and here comes this young buck with it hang off the side of his rack...the strings weren't long enoungh to make a good loop so I had added a piece of string with a bigger loop....I don't know why because it was doe urine...but I sat in that stand all embarressed.....so use pill bottles and also mix scents with mineral oil shake and dip strips of wht cloth in it to hang...in cold weather keeps scent from freezing...or evaporating as fast....ANYHOW ...I think Kotex is missing a market and we should have Shaman write a commercial for them...[;)]
