Thanks for the congrats guys, I didnt realize how big he was until I got down next to him.  Then I couldn't stand for a while. Come July, he'll be watching over me at home.

I also recommend some after season scouting to see trails in the snow, bedding areas, etc.j

Yeah looking for trails in snow helps alot to find out what the deer are eating.  Just follow one of these trails and you will more then likely find out what they are eating.  If your woods consist of white oaks that would be a good bet to look for sign.  Deer on our land have about a foot and a half of snow and there still digging to find the acorns.
