Go before and after. I shot a doe last weekend about 90 minutes after the temps started dropping and the winds picked up in advance of a cold front. The reports that I had are that there was a fair amount of activity in the area at the time. Unfortunately, I couldn't repeat my luck when the cold front came through this past Friday. If you are going to get 4+ inches of snow, it is always a good bet to be in the stand about the time the snow stops. They will likely be on the move looking for an easy meal they don't have to dig for.
