Water doesnt hurt. A buck may do without much food while chasing does in the rut but he needs some water every day.

I hunt on 88 acres of farm land in NW Ohio that the family owns.  There is a small creek that runs thur it.  However, the creek cuts thur the wooded part of the farm.  Now the wooded area is about 120 yards wide by oh, maybe 300 yards long. I see the best bucks there.
