hunt thick grown up clear cuts??? Got 2 places like this with big thick briars all in it. If you were to cut a path through it and hunt from a tree stand the deer would almost have to be right under the stand to see it. What do you guys do and what kind of ideas do you have for me??? Thanks!!!!!

you got it. That's about all you can do. We have some land that we hunt that is so thick a deer could be 20 yards from you and you might not see him. What we did was cut a few paths through the thicket and made them run within 20-25yds from our stands. Deer seem to use the path of least resistance and it has worked well for us. I'll agree that you don't get alot of notice that they're coming, but I'm not sure how else we could hunt these areas.
