I know that one of the most popular deer calls in the woods is "The Can". The problem is, that many people have no idea what the proper way to use this call is. Generally people bring it into the woods, turn it all the way over a few times, and hope for the best.
Well, as Peter Fiduccia elaborates in this video, there are actually FIVE different kinds of blats that you can make with the can. By turning the can all the way over, and making the long extended BLAAAAHHHHHHH, you are actually making an "Alarm Blat". This blat tells all of the deer in the area to get the heck out of there.
The proper way to make the estrus blat is to do 3-5 short BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH, by turning the can over quickly. Check out the video, this might help quite a few people in the woods this fall:

I just learned this last year after 3 years of using the call. No wonder I dont get a deer every year. I wonder what else I'm doing wrong?

My !@#%! speaker's r not werk'n...First year i bought a can i used it with no result's for awhile...Then one day i back'd it up with grunt...8 pointer came within 10 yard's of me with tongue hang'n out and breath'n hard....i've often wonder'd how far he came from...
