Cuddeback Capture Green LED ?

I would like to verify my findings on the function of the Green LED light on a Cuddeback Capture.  Checking Cuddeback FAQ, the only explanation about the green LED is that it signals the camera is in downloading mode from the internal memory to the SD Card. Is this correct ? Does the Green LED have any other function ?  I have not yet seen the Green LED Light come on in my camera. The reason being that I don't have anything stored in my Cuddeback Camera's internal memory, because I have always used an SD card.  Is this correct ?

I always use an SD card also. So I am not sure about the green light. I just always turn my camera off, wait about a minute, and then remove the SD card, then insert a replacement.
