Another Moultrie question

I had a moultrie last year (the one with the 6volt lantern battery, I cant think of the model right now). It crapped the bed and I got in contact with moultrie. I had to pay the shipping to send it there and they actually sent me a new D-40 in replacement of my old cam. It took a little bit but I got a better cam out of the deal.
 
Let us know what happens.

Moultrie has asked me to send the cameras in for them to examine. I got a UPS label in the mail yesterday, and have them packaged and ready to go. I'm hoping for the best.

Here's the rest of the story...

I got a package on Thursday from Moultrie, and guess what? They replaced my cameras -- the box had two new cameras in it. They verified that the cameras would not record the date and time in the file information -- even though they imprinted them on the photos. That meant I had to open up every photo to see when it was taken.

Apparently there was no way to upgrade the software, so they replaced them.

Let's hear a big round of applause for Moultrie.

Good end to the story. Melanie has also been very helpful to me whenever I have called down there. Moultrie sent me a new camera after my first was defective.

Great to hear of your good customer service experience with Moultrie.
It makes me feel better knowing they stand behind their product. After some bad experiences with Wildview, I ended up buying 2 Moultrie D-40's which I absolutely love. They have not given me any bit of trouble since putting them out in December I believe, even in below freezing temps. My next camera which will be bought very soon was either the cuddeback or another moultrie....after reading a few reviews on the cuddeback capture, I'll go with another Moultrie.

That's great news Steve...I have a Moultrie as well.  No problems thus far, but when and if I do, I know they'll stand behind their product!

Glad hear they stand behind their product, I may be call MAM. My moultrie D-40 is acting up.  Everytime I put memory card it in it says SD card locked and will not take any pictures nor will any of the buttons work when it does this.
