i havent got a trail cam but i am hoping to invest in a efficient but somewhat cheap one. but anyways one day i am almost positive i had a bobcat right under my treestand opeing morning of bow season. i screamed and scared the living daylights right out of me. i dont know for sure because i didnt have a flashlight on me that day though.

I don't thimk a bobcat would bother anyone... but it would startle anyone especially if it had plans to get into the tree with you.
 
By his posture, this one looks a bit startled by the flash going off.

Due to different color phases, reds and grays can sometimes be difficult to tell apart.  A good rule (i'm sure there could be exceptions) to follow is:  A red fox tail will be tipped white while a gray fox tail will be tipped black.  An interesting thing about grays is that they anatomically are more close to a cat than a dog. They can also climb trees.

Better be carefull, looks like that cat has x-ray vision. could be the fox's bodygaurd!

Here's a picture I got of a bobcat. He's sitting on top of a bookcase in the "dead animal room" in my basement. Before i get hollered at by any other Indiana posters telling me it's illegal to take bobcat here, I got this one in Sprott Alabama and he's got a leg tag to prove it. I think it adds to the room.

Here's a grey fox I got with my Bushnell Trail Scout. I also have a video of a grey fox walking out into the field within 2 feet of a feeding deer and then urinating on the corn pile that I had out to attract the deer. The video is real dark but I'll try and find it. I'll have to post a link to it.

I will atttempt to link to the fox video. It's pretty dark. You'll probably only see the deer's eyes in the background. Fox comes in past the deer, does a figure S and urinates on the bait pile.
