This is my first pic from my new Moultrie, looks like a six maybe a possible 8, I'm guessing 2.5 yrs?

My thoughts exactly gents...its in an area I spot mapped off a topo, so when i walked the ground it seemed perfect.  Only problem is this guy is not headed in the direction i figured he would be...he looks like he's headed back to the bedding areas and at 3pm he should be headed towards the feeding areas...guessing his actions are being driven by his hormones and the rut!  I really can't get into this spot in the early mornings, I'll make way too much noise and its too late in the season to be clearing trails..it will spook them for sure...so I'm thinking I'll hit my favorite scrape line in the morning and by noon head down to this spot which is about a click south east of this spot.

Make sure to point your cam lower. I made this same mistake starting out and all i got was ears and antlers.  Point it low to the point that it almost looks like it is to low.

use the infra red aiming beam, and adjust it so it hits you in the crotch when you stand where you expect the deer to be, and they'll be centered good like this one. And dont point em into the rising or setting sun

those are both nice looking deer! i'm not sure if these worked but these are a few i have the first one isnt that good! this is my first year using a camera and i love it!
