I'm suprised the warden gave you a head tag,because "pick-up's" are considered state property and by law you have no legal right to them.  I wouldn't  sell it ,because it's a family heirloom now.  Is the rack a non-typical? You really need to post a pic on here so we can view the rack. Your in violation of  "man-law", and its totally not acceptable.

I have heard of others who have sold to the likes of Cabelas, but the purchase agreement required that the buyer, in addition to the sale price, had to provide a replica for the seller.  Have your cake and eat it too!

I would sell it or hang it in the garage . I wouldn't have a rack mounted that I didn't shoot . But ....... that's what i would do . What someone else does is their business .
