Spareribs with Hawaiian Pineapple - Recipe of the Week

Spareribs with Hawaiian Pineapple
3 pounds venison spareribs
1 piece ginger root, crushed
2 tablespoons flour
1-1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2/3 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon red soy sauce
1 cup packed raw brown sugar
1 tablespoon peanut oil
2 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic
4 slices Hawaiian pineapple

Cut spareribs into 2-inch lengths and mix with flour, soy sauce and red soy sauce. Heat oil in a pan; add water, vinegar, salt and sugar and cook over low flame for 1 hour. Garnish with pineapple cut into small pieces. Serve with hot rice. Serves 4 people.
