[font="Tahoma"]Been working on this recipe a while now. I think it is close to perfect. Enjoy!!! [:D]

FFKevin's Jack Daniel's Deer Marinade

Recipe courtesy Kevin Connell

½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
? cup soy sauce
¼ teaspoon of your favorite hot pepper sauce
1 cup water
½ cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey (*NOT OPTIONAL)
3 – 4 lbs of deer meat (steaks, back straps, tenderloins, whole loins, whatever you like…)

Mix everything except the meat in a gallon Ziploc bag, add the meat, and turn to coat.

Seal the bag and press out the excess air.

Put the bag in a shallow dish and refrigerate for 12 – 24 hours, turning occasionally. (The longer you can marinate it, the better!!!)

Remove the meat from the marinade and SAVE the marinade.

Grill the meat over a medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes for medium rare or until they are done as you like them.

To make a glaze sauce, pour reserved marinade into a sauce pan. Boil on med-high heat, until reduced by half. Add cornstarch to thicken. Put in gravy boat and serve with the meal.
