Age genetics and nutrition.  All are a part of the big picture.  If I had one to choose it would be age.  Having said that I know that my 21 food plots are very beneficial for holding deer and helping them through the long winters. Genetics are tough...a 180" buck does not happen without some of this as well!!

Yes these two great organizations are still important and always will be.

The whole food plot/mineral business is hype. Hunters are taking more big deer b/c more hunters are letting young deer walk.

Have you ever work all off season planting trees ,growing food plots,building shooting houses ,and all the things that u do to grow deer and try and hold deer to your property,just to have someone else come in and take deer that you have passed on for last two years just to see it at a neighbors house and i know their gods deer not mine .
But sometimes i feel like givin up but i just cant .
So now i just hope the neighbors kill bigger deer than i do ,maybe they will miss one!
