Liberty apples

Is anybody planting these ? I thought since these were disease resistant that they would be a good variety along with a pollinator.

Have not tried liberty apples, but if you are looking for a good universal pollinator you might want to consider a variety of crab apple tree. If I were planting apple trees I would get early, mid and late season varieties to keep fruit on the trees as long as possible.
