treestand fall

A few years ago I was hunting out of a lonewolf fixed stand, using the metal hooks they come with. I placed my foot on the stand  and the s-type hooks let loose. I fell twenty two feet, landed on my side with my arm over my head. My shoulder was a little sore but really unscathed. Someone was looking out for me because I hit very soft ground, there was a dent in the dirt where my face landed. I guess I'm lucky i didn't land on anything important.

Just curious, do you use a harness system now?
