Judge ends Western wolf hunting (scary precedent?)

A judge has placed western wolves back on the endangered species list, citing political boundaries (such as state lines) should not be used to determine seasons?

What do you think? If that's the case, should states be allowed to set any game seasons or would it all fall under federal control?
