Yea but wolves don't attack people [8|], was this debate not brought up not to long ago, So here's to all you non believers.... That poor girls family and friends has our prayers.

I think the article said the police ruled out foul play...it was the wolves.

Very sad. What an awful way to go.
It makes me wonder about going to the woods without "packing heat". They're thick enough around here, it makes a guy think he should. Especially bowhunting or something when you're using deer scents. A few years ago we had a young bowhunter in the area that put doe in estrous on his boots and had to stay in the tree all night because the timbers wouldn't leave the base of his tree. He didn't shoot but I think I would have, especially after yelling and they still didn't leave.

I know WI has Open Carry laws, but is it legal to carry a handgun while bowhunting? I have been unable to find anything in the regs that forbid it. Just curious. Anybody know?

I learned the hard way with Doe scent on boots had a black bear that would not leave me alone had the bow in full drawl numerous times, it took me jumping up and down to scare it off
