Caroline, you are pro life? All life? Really? If that is so, why would you want to give birth control to deer? That would inhibit their ability to reproduce, would it not? If that is so, why are you feeding deer and turning them into pets? You are disrupting their natural feeding habits and encouraging them to congregate in urban enviroments where they do not belong, which can be detrimental to their survival! You have been told time and time again on this forum that we kill to feed ourselves, our families and needy people in our community. Yet you insist time and time again that we hunt only for "fun, recreation, and sport." What do you do to feed your family? Go to the grocery store? Who are you to tell us that we cannot eat healthy meat, free from chemicals and hormones and preservatives?! Do you think GOD intended for all that crap to be put in our food? Do you think that HE intended for our food to be processed, wrapped in plastic and thrown on a shelf in a refrigerated enviroment. No!!! The natural thing for us to do is hunt our prey, kill it, gut it , cook it and eat it! The fact is humans eat meat regardless if our bodies were designed for it or not. We eat meat, period! We spend countless hours, days, months out in the fields and forests learning about wildlife so we can help animals survive for people like yourself and future generations to enjoy. It is not all about killing. Do you know anything about your "pets"? Do you know what they eat to survive? Do you know what kind of habitat they need to survive? Do you know anything about their anatomy or how to age them? Do you know anything about them other than the fact that they are pretty? You did not even know why "your" two bucks "disappeared." You automatically accused hunters of killing them! Yet there are dozens of biological reasons why you may not be seeing them! If you are going to come onto a deer hunting forum and incite the members you had better know what you are talking about. We are knowledgeable and we are strong. We are the largest stewards of wildlife and conservation handsdown!
