Relax guys. The Republican party had its chance and they blew it by trying to be as liberal as the opposition. Now it is the Democrats turn to prove they are no better than the political hacks across the isle. Maybe their supporters too will learn that politics are not the answer to our problems.

I am reminded of an Irish saying, "Night is darkest just before the dawn."

The deer do not know or care about this. The woods still live according to the shifting of the wind and the movement of the sun across the sky. If you are depressed (or if you are elated) you need to get your butt in a tree stand for a reality check.

When Barry Bolshevic makes that appointment...which he WILL get, with the overwhelming Democrat majority he now has in the legislature...the case will surface again, and we WILL lose this time. If he gets more than one appointment, then it will be by a large majority.[/font]
 
[font=verdana]My prediction is that the case will be brought by Chicago's Mayor Daley, who has vowed to fight for his gun ban in the SCOTUS,  and of which Obama has already stated that he SUPPORTS. [/font]

And for those of you that don't give a rat's patoot about the 2A, don't forget about Obama's being endorsed by the anti-HUNTING HSUS because......

Welcome to the land of socialist america(USSA).  Gone will be your freedom to become an entreprenuer and thrive on your ideas to become wealthy under your own power, unless of course you want to be taxed enough to see your hard earned fortune diminished to the state you were in beforehand or the dreams of, say, owning your own business vanished.  I strongly believe that you get what you put in, but the dark ages are here and everyone is equal in terms of free enterprise.  Oh yeah, and give me your guns, so we can eliminate the use of them on people, as this is our only logical response to murders in the numerous cess pool cities we have.  Remember guns kill people, so hand them over and I don't want to hear a peep about it!!!!!  Maybe exaggerating a little, but we will start to see a movement in those directions, just be watchful and wait.

Why put this thread away? Some of us are concerned with where an obama Presidency is going to take us, and looking the other way, and pretending nothing is happening is the wrong approach. People need to vent, need to process, think out loud, and this is a fine place to do that.
 
obama is a threat to Second Amendment rights, especially with a majority in both the House and Senate, and will act agressively to move forward with his agenda.
 
Not to mention, I`m having trouble finding a single issue where he reflects my values.
 
Some here are seriously concerned about what direction this Country will head now, and rightfully so.

I suppose you have a point Hunter480. I too am concerned about the fate of America and the world, but I am more inclined to turn it over to prayer and trying to build peace from within. But good luck with this thread. I'm out.
