3 bucks within an hour!

Postby tnt1960 » Tue Nov 23, 2010 2:31 pm

A 16 year old girl from Wisconsin got 3 bucks in an hour. A 13 point, a 10 point, and an 8 point. I'm impressed!!! Here's the video of the story! http://www.wnem.com/video/25889409/inde ... source=CNN

Yikes!  Not exactly your typical hunt!  Congrats to her.

I saw the story on Fox News this morning.  Quite the deal.

My question is, how many bucks are you allowed for one person in Wisconsin per season?

bobow: In Wisconsin your allowed to party hunt so I would assume her dad and another person tagged the other 2 bucks.

Well first I would like to say congrats and what a nice thing that happened to a young hunter. Her dad is a good man for taking her out and doing what he did, but did she really need to shoot the third buck? I mean he was quite a bit smaller than the two bucks she already had shot. Also where was the other person when she shot the third buck? Was he within ear shot or line of sight? I get the first two bucks but why the third? Just because she could? Party hunting kind of turns me off especially when you are shooting bucks for other people. If you need the meat why not shoot a doe and you would be able to tag it yourself?

So that leads me to my last question.

How many bucks a season is enough?
My answer is one. Use the tag you were given and no more.

What do all you guys think?

I'd have to agree. Whack em and stack em is not really how I prefer to hunt.

In that party system. What would happen if the other two hunters had shot their bucks at that very same day and time?
