With the size of the racks, the number of deer, and so many close up pictures, I suspected it was from a preserve. I did check it out as you suggested, and it is a preserve. Still, it confirms you can get some nice stuff from behind a high fence if you have the money and the want-to.

That's disturbing. At least they don't refer to it as the the upcoming "deer hunting season", they just refer to it as the "season". Wonder if that was a conscious choice of words.
To each his own, I guess.

When you see tags on the ears it is a fenced hunting area.

Nice cattle,,ah,,eh,,"deer Herd". Must give them sore necks carrying all that on top of their heads. These deer ranches are partly responsible for the growing disease problems we are experiencing, but that is another topic, for another post..

A man was hit by a cab in the street. He was brought to the hospital. His wife who was standing up by his bed, said to the doctor: "I think that he is very ill." "I am afraid that he is dead."said the doctor,Hearing this, the man moved his head and said: "I'm not dead. I'm still alive." "Be quiet, "said the wife. "the doctor knows better than you!"
Just then a voice called from outside the door, "If you do, I won't go."

I could not agree more OF. It is pretty distributing where deer hunting is heading.

Don't speak too loudly you might get flamed for that kind of talk around here. Either way I give your comment two thumbs up!

Not always, in Texas they capture, tag and release 'Free Roaming' deer.
