IL., CPO report

Postby EatDeer » Wed Sep 03, 2008 1:53 pm

A CPO met with a U.S. Transportation Safty Agent at Bloomington's airport regarding a portion of an animal leg found in a passenger's luggage. The item is believed to be part of a Moose leg that the passenger found while on a fishing trip in Canada. The traveler was attempting to take the item to his home in Florida. The leg was removed and seized by TSA due to biological conserns. The passenger was allowed to continue on his flight to Florida. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife was contacted to follow up on the case.
