What's Your Favorite On-the-Stand Snack?

I pack up a bottle of water and a powerade zero or low calorie gatorade. To eat, I bring a banana, some granola bars, jerky and a sandwich. Enough for all day.

If I'm planning a sunrise to sunset hunt, I'll include a sandwich and a bag of mixed nuts, dried banana chips and pieces of snickers mixed in. A thermos of black coffee and a small bottle of water will do it. If I get a deer early, I'll eat the lunch on the way home. On a short evening hunt I'll bring some water.
I'm mostly hunting out of an elevated box blind so the movement required to eat all that food is concealed.

Ah, the Thermos! I have this kinda old Thermos, and I had never used one. Yesterday I got up at 5 and made coffee, put it in there, that stuff was still hot when I returned to the car at noon to get something. I am sold on them now.

Snickers!!! Wow I never thought of bringing one........its quite high on the pie chart I see. Never would have saw that

I usually plan to hunt all day so I pack a PBJ sammich or two, a couple protein bars, and some sort of nut mix type thing I throw together (nuts, craisins, pnut MM)

Don't forget to take the Snickers out of the wrapper. It makes a lot of noise opening it. I put a small piece in my mouth and try to let the chocolate dissolve leaving only the nuts. It's harder to do than you might think since the temptation is to just chew it. (the drill passes the time)

I try to repackage everything in bags that make as little noise as possible before heading out.

First time I took my son hunting, mom packed his snacks.

Were in the groundblind 5 minutes "Dad.........i'm hungry"
I say get one of your snacks mom packed to eat.

I'm looking out the window and I hear "KRUNCH< CRUSH< KRINKLE< KRINKLE <MUNCH< MUNCH"

I'm like "What the heck!!?!?!"
A bag of Potato chips?

He only lasted 5 more minutes after that anyways. He found the windows in the blind to be to enticing and thought it neat to pop his head in and out looking at stuff.

I normally pack a bottle of water enhanced with maple syrup, then venison sausage and raisins - I avoid nuts as they are crunchy and make noise (same with apples) dried apricots and dates work well too. At times I cook up some hamburger with onions and mushrooms and pack in a one-zip bag with a plastic spoon - very filling and quiet to eat, similar to the pasty's that copper miners up in MN and UP of MI used to eat, but without the pie crust.
