As it started getting light I could see 6 bucks within 70 yards of my stand and more bucks were coming in . I ended up with 14 -15 bucks around my stand .
At one point there were 3 seperate fights going on . The 1 1/2 old bucks were not doing much but the 2 1/2 year olds were getting after it pretty good at times .
I have deer hunted for 34 years and I have seen a few fights but nothing like this . Every buck there was locked up with another one at one point or another and this all lasted for about an hour .
I usualy hold out for 3 1/2 year old or better but I got caught up in all the excitement and shot this nice 2 1/2 year old buck .
After the deer started seperating I tried a few grunts with not much sucsess but a snort weeze brought him to within 20 yards . He turned just as I released my arrow and I knew it was not a good hit but he stoped behind my stand and my second arrow found its mark right behind the sholder . He went about 20 more yards and expired .
In the end my only regret is that I did not have a vidio camera to capture all of the activity but it will live forever in my mind .
