Unique Deer

Postby Centralwisconsinland » Mon Dec 15, 2008 4:34 pm

This was sent to me by friends from Alaska, they said this deer is from the Maine 2008 Season. Does anyone have any information about this deer?  I have a problem with the picture, it is to perfect, it looks staged, no blood or weapon.

There was a story this year about a guy who killed a piebald and all the locals raised a big stink because they considered it their pet. I don't recall exactly where it was, but it was in the Northeast.
There was a story on this website about it.

This came through on the D&DH Rubline (daily e-mail blog).

The Piebald Buck Stops Here

There are few details about this unique piebald deer, but we're sure the hunter -- whoever he is, wherever he was hunting -- had to pinch himself when he leveled his sights on this buck.

Don't care where it's from, it an awsome looking deer.
I have never seen anything like it myself, just a doe that has one white spot on her side about the size of a hand.

You know, I don't think I could help myself but to open my release on a piebald.  That is to rare to pass up.

Here is a buck that a hunter got over in WI. He sent these pictures to a bunch of people to see what he could get and the owner of Cabela's
paid him $13,000 for the head and hide. A calico buck like the one pictured is rarer then an albino.  Nice Freaking rack even though it looks like a cow
