Those are really neat pics, it does not surprise me I am in a combine for about 3 months out off the year harvesting nearly 5000 acres of corn. I have seen it many times when you get down to the last 12-24 rows and have dozens of deer run out.

That photo is quite popular.  I first saw it in the D&DH mag.  I am going with the throat slit theory on this one.  I think it would be tough to watch it die.  That is a tough way to die for any animal let alone a nice buck like that.
