Nice deer. I wonder how old he is. He is beginning to put some weight on his hind quarters, but his front quarters are still pretty light. His abdomen curves upward like a young deer. Based on his body, it's hard to think he's more than 2½, but I've heard Texas deer are small, so I could be wrong. If he's only 2½, he's a dandy and ought to be really something next year.
Any thoughts on his age?
