If anyone posts a score, please explain how you arrived at it. I hear 130 this and 140 that, but dont know how to do it. Would love to learn. Thanks, Pan
Pan if you go to the boone and crocket website they have a place were you can click on and score your buck pretty simple just put in what they tell you hit ok and it adds it up for you. The site will also walk you through how to measure out the rack I have used it on all of my bucks.
With that being said I would say that deer is in the 120 to 125 range. I say that because although he looks pretty wide it is hard to tell from photos and spread is only a small amount of the score. I shot a buck last year that we all thought was for sure 18 wide but once measured only 16 1/4. your deer is prob around 16 good tine length and good main beams but I have learned photos can be deceaving.. very nice deer non the less also he looks pretty massive right now because of the velvet it would be easier to judge once the velvet is off. I guess we will know from you soon enough once season starts and you put a arrow through him.. Let us know...
