Tags go on sale here on the 17th of this month....Monday...I have a little "cubby hole" I put in at the chicken coop...it will be my nasty weather ground blind of sorts ....the smell of the chickens covers my sent and the smell of the chicken food seems to have the critters hanging around it....even though there is no way to get at the food...They have a small 4x4 foot out door run and next spring I'm adding an 8x4ft run....triple wired and with a plastic lattis outside cover...dang thing will be bear/weasel proof but still let in some light and breeze....It's 200yrds down in the woods...I'll put up pics soon

I have some more tweeking to do and to get the foundation(of sorts) ready fot the spring run addition but here are afew pics.....I'm showing these because

1. I hope to get a deer from that little cubby
2. I made the plans and built this my self with little help....so I'm proud

Mr B. needs to take credit for squaring the floor base...cutting in those little notch thingies for the roof joist...and laying down the rooftar and hopefully soon...finishing the rolled roofing...We started this spring and the rain has'nt let up until now...Oh and taring again around the sky light I installed...He's a keeper

Any ways I want you to know this cost just over 200 dollars and I cut most of the wood with a bow saw...ya I know it's not perfact but niether am I....[;)]

Ha Ha Ha...forgot the pics...

Went to camp today...decided to take a couple of pics....good acorns down there and the apples are doing well ...the bear has'nt hit the honey tree but on this very warm day it was busy...tons of nice size tracks kicked up some deer and beds all over the field next to house....looking good..[:)]

Here are a few pics from my new deer stand we started putting up this weekend. This is our back field, west of our house, overlooks our pond and shooting lane in the swamp planted with rape and turnips. Hope to plant the entire field someday.

Looks like some good habitat DoeEyed......thick with open areas. I'm sure it is good already, but it also has a lot of potential! Love the pond....it will be good on those unseasonably warm days!
