One lucky buck

Postby msbadger » Tue Jun 16, 2009 6:47 am

Yes.... bad photo but.... I was out of breath and hurrying...the buck who's head you can't see is several inches taller and branched...but notice the scar that runs down the boys side.....looks to be the width of a 12ga slug...one lucky deer...unlucky hunter ....they were walking past the kitchen in the field next door the other day...need to get cams out ...We've had some really nice sighting so far

You never know, he could have caught a fence or something too. Either way that is a nice buck, you can see how much taller he is than the buck following him! Good luck keeping him around for deer season, sure would be nice to see you post a picture of him with that scar and you sitting beside him after you've killed him!

hmm..Instersting.. Coulda beena  lot of thingslike viking said.. But I would say a shot 12ga slug would be a good bet, like ya said.

This scar is from a 100 grain broadhead.
