I'm an idiot: Part II

Postby Patriot » Mon May 11, 2009 3:45 am

Click here for I'm an idiot  part I.

I can't even explain how mad I was when I got the truck stuck (again) last weekend.  It all turned out fine, but not until my father-in-law got his John Deere stuck trying to pull me out.

We went to the neighboring farmer and he came over and pulled us both out.

I was on my way to hang up my new hang on stand in the woods you see in the background.

Who woulda thunk you could get stuck in a field like that.  Ridiculous!  I was beside myself.

At least I can still kill deer.  From now on, I'll walk from the house to my stands (several miles).[&:]

Or maybe I'd still get stuck......haha.[:D]

Yeah, yeah....have a laugh....j/k....it IS funny.  I just can't believe it happened again.  And then the John Deere got totally buried to the axle trying to get me out.

I will NEVER hear the end of it now for as long as I live.  Thank God for a super Father-in-law.

That field was like a floating sponge.  Weird.

I think this was God's way of keeping me humble.

Brother.........we gotta talk.

What does Mrs Patriot said about this?

First there is the father in law helping you drag the deer out.
Second the idiot (part 1)
third the idiot (part 2)

Father's day is coming...........you better be good and not make it a drag. !!!   [:D][:D][:D]

Your a good sport to share this
Cheers

At it again hey Kid......At least we can count on you to keep things interesting around here. [:D]
Did you get the stand up???
When a hunter is in a tree stand with high moral values and with the proper hunting ethics and richer for the experience, that hunter is 20 ft. closer to God.
