coach, we want old as in charcoal drawings on rocks!
Put me on a mountain, way back in the backwoods

The first pic...was back in 1968. Shame we don't the of the deer heads.....the one on the right was
a nice size buck.
The second pic....was back in 1976 where moose and deer was open on the same date.
For economic reasons they never did that again. Too much money was loss. That's why now there is 2 seasons.
Third pic...moose hunting in 1981. This was transportation from camp to next available road. (7 miles)
Fourth pic....deer hunting in 1981. Only 3 weeks after moose hunt above.
Fifth....who says you can't have fun. (1987)
Last pic....biggest 5 point buck ever seen. (1991) On the scale like this....284 lbs (hit by a car)
Next picture to come....will date from 1950's to 1970's. I think I left them at the camp.
I'm not driving 5 hours to get them. You guys will have to wait [:D]

Great pics!
When a hunter is in a tree stand with high moral values and with the proper hunting ethics and richer for the experience, that hunter is 20 ft. closer to God.

Forgive the black and white film, but times were tough on me in the early 70's. The attached picture shows Danny Button up on the ladder. I hunted with Danny and his sons, Jerry and Ron. The farm is just south of Waupaca Wisconsin where County E and County EE split. People used to stop and take pictures every year 'cause we usually had 6 or 7 hanging opening day. The farm is no longer there and there's houses where we used to hunt. P.S. There's 6 bucks and two does hanging in that tree. Some of the bucks qualify for the "eyeball award". Anyone who could see horns that small deserves an award.
