I got the first buck one weekend, then the second buck the next weekend. Both in lower michigan. First one is a 6 pt., second is an 8 pt.

My trailcam pics tell the story of my 2009 buck. A nice typical 10 with a Pope & Young score of 158 5/8. Since Sept., never had any pics of him till the end of Oct.. He was a traveler, came from some other area. First pic was oct. 25, then the 28 when I shot him. I spine shot him, had to get down and finish him off. Took him right to the butcher, he started on him that same day. I've been taking deer with a bow since the early 70's, and I can honestly say he was the very best eating I ever had, and I've had plenty. I have to think it was because he never ran and expired reletively quick, gutted, cooled and prosessed quickly.

Congrats on that great buck. Am I seeing that right, in the third pick, is that your arrow sticking out of him. Because if that is...thats a picture of a lifetime.
