my 2008 season pics

Hey folks, I'm new at this. My son killed his first deer this year it was awesome. I wouln't trade it for the world. He shot his deer in the Ohio 2008 youth season. He shot a 50cal. muzzleloader with one pyrodex pellet, its good for about 100yrds. We stalked out to the edge of the field about 80 yrds from the deer. He was shooting open sights. With the use of the shooting sticks he made a great shot on the deer. It was one of the most memorable moments I've ever had in the woods.The other pics are a deer that I had my sights on for 2 yrs. Hey congratulations to you and your boy!! And wow those are some nice bucks in the trail cam pic!! Is the buck you killed the one in the trail cam pic(on the left)?  Either way, awsome deer!

Yes, the deer on the left is the one I shot. Never did see the other buck during season. Hopefully he's still around next year. Thanks for the reply!!!!!!!!   Had some new neighbors start hunting the property that borders mine, next thing you know my trail camera was stollen. Cant stand a thief!!!!!!!!!!!   Never had a problem till this year, hopefully I can get more pics. next year.

Yes its probably the best year ever. I'm a professional taxidermist so he'll have his first one on the wall. Going to make sure of that. I wish I would have gotten my first one mounted. Thanks for the replies, my son loves reading them with me. It all means alot to us both.
