Ya beat me to it !  I just got that in an e-mail as well & was going to post it.  Awesome photo.  Me and a buddy were discussing and I think that is probably on the first jump after impact.  What do you think?   notice blood on the far side (deer right) so he got his thru & thru but not quite a complete pass thru.

thats trigger speed WOW! awesome photo. dan fitzegerald used to get awesome pass throught shots form the opposite side in his videos.

Sweet photo, not the best shot placement though.  I'm going to do a vital information here.  :) 

"As we can see by the picture, the deer was quartering away.  Since the deer was in this position, I would have placed my pin another 4 inches back.  Thus allowing for a pass through, which would have taken out both lungs.  Although this deer didn't go more than 50 yards when an arrow gets buried in a shoulder it scares me for a lost deer due to the loss of the blood trail."
