This deer is dead in the air, it didn't even get to its feet.  That arrow entered from above and quartering away.  It took out one lung, possibly caught the other, and the heart.  The blood trail has already started (afraid of losing it?).  Even if it didn't leave a nice blood trail from this wound, it wouldn't make it 100 yards and all of that would be on adrenaline.

i would have to agree that this is a near perfect shot. maybe back 1" more to miss the shoulder but other than that its perfect!

That's how I feel sometimes when they analyze some of the shot placements on D&DH TV.  I was trying to be funny, don't take it personal.  lol

i am sorry i didn't pick-up on your sarcasm. it happens to me sometimes on the site too...i am very scarcastic but fail to realize how it comes across in written words to people that don't know me.
