That looks a lot like the pic last year from St. Marin's Island on the U.P. that was at first rumored to be poaching, but later it was found out to be legit.

That can't be, there aren't any deer in Wisconsin any more.  The DNR done kilt them all.

UNREAL!!!!! WOW!
"Any sportsman who can kill his deer without the tingling spine, the quick clutch at his heart, the delicious trembling of nerve fibers when the game is finally down, has no place in the deer woods." Lawrence R. Koller. (1948).

Either they hunted an island or they have a strong QDM regiment. I know a group of hunters in my area who closed a good chunk of land for 5 years from hunting so the bucks could grow. I don't know if it worked for them like this, but thats another possibility.
I only hunt on days that end in ' Y '.

Gotta love the person holding the QDM sign when there isn't 1 doe hanging on that meat pole.

What an awsome sight. My top 3 picks would be, the 5th from the left (wide), and the 4th from the right (good mass) or 2nd from the right (better tine length).

ORIGINAL: NC Deer Hunter

ORIGINAL: Nubs

Wisconsin has lots of deer and can produce huge bucks if hunters would give them a chance. It is nice to see some people are having good success with deer management!

Amen Nubs. We are over-run with Deer here in NC and my Friends will still shoot a 3 pointer after seeing 20 Does then complain about not having Big Bucks. Go Figure.

My friends know to lay off the young bucks, but too many people around here don't & haven't a clue what they're doing to the herd by removing the young bucks.

Does are legal every day of the season here. Are there places where that's not the case and bucks are the only legal deer to shoot at times?
