A quick response from any computer wise ppl....PC illiterate here still[:o]

I have a Inspiron 531 with windows XP home

Mr B wants a bigger monitor screen and I just got an E-mail from /Amazon...deal of the day...a Toshiba 32"E200u TV...it says it has PC hook up...would that work as a Monitor on our system?...OK if it was a dumb ? ..don't razz me[;)]
