Same Deer?

Hey guys. I have a couple very similar (if not the same) deer on camera and I'm looking for other opinions on whether these pics are of the same deer or not. Let me know what you think. I appreciate the help. We just bought the land this past summer, so we are still trying to get an inventory of what we're dealing with.

I have looked at both of these pictures closely, and after close scrutiny taking into consideration of positions and angles of the spikes that these are the same deer.. a very nice looking 10 point!

I'm not a expert, but if you look at the date of the second picture 9/2/10. I would think that the rack would be almost fully, if not allready, fully developed. In the first picture the bucks G2's are the same lenght as the G3's, and the G4 on the left beam is a lot longer than the first picture. I believe they are 2 different bucks. Just my guess though. Good luck chasing them. Nice deer either way.

Thanks for your input. I also was under the impression that antler growth would have been complete by the beginning of September, which led me to believe they were different deer.

Those racks look awfully similar... but the later dated pic shows a small white patch in front of the shoulder that isn't there on the velvet pic...

Im going to say they are different deer!

Base of the horns on the one with velvet looks closer to the eye then the other pic,and some of the deer marking look different also (white)

The horns are different sizes, but they could of grown some more I guess they are still in velvet.

Bonecollector you need to collar you pets so we can Identify them. lol

I'm going to say they are different deer.  The 09/02 picture has a left G4 of 2 inches.  The 11/04 Picture of the left G4 is about 4 inches.  The 09/02 rack should be full grown and shows no bulbs at the end of the G4 showing it has growth left.
