New Turkey Decoy

Postby Wanderer » Fri May 27, 2011 12:43 pm

Well, turkey hunting has been over here in Indiana since the 15th of May. Too late I discovered that some Tom turkeys like their ladies a little heftier. Like 1200 pounds heftier. I watched this clown out my patio door today while he put on a show for my mare. She was fascinated. What's the rule on using live horses as decoys?

I believe they have to have a saddle and bridle on before they can be used as a decoy. I think they also have to be a certain color. You'll have to check and see what color of horse can be used.
