I've shot a couple deer that had a broadhead lodged in their tenderloins. One that I remember skinning with my father, we were pulling the hide off the deer and this bright green (i mean neon green) goop came out. I'm assuming it was puss. This was during Ohio gun season (the week after thanksgiving) and i'm sure this deer was shot earlier in bow season. with the color of that puss, there was no way it would have survived.
