Nice one Swamplife. Things must be different down there, our muzzle loader season is late in the year.

Thanks.

Yes things are different for sure, Florida ML season is between Archery and Rifle. This buck was just about in peak rut on Oct 7, tarsals were very dark and quite a bit of chasing going on that weekend. Small bucks have been chasing for over a month now. Officer guessed him at 3 1/2 at the check station(pulled jaw bone) and he was 125# live weight.

Our deer stay in shape with 90*+ temps most of the year.

My brother got his first buck with his new hoyt on the Kansas opener. Gross scored 152 2/8. Net 139 6/8!

Nice buck. Congratulations. I'm surprised it was only 125 #. Looked a lot bigger...must be the camera angle.

Great deer guys. Here is the one I killed Missouri bow season opening day.

Field dressed out at 184 pounds.

Nice deer guys! Congrats to you all, As far as wight on the one I got, we did not have means to officially weigh but it was similar in body size to a buck a friend of mine got last year that weighed 270# on the hoof. I can say that it is is the only deer that I HAD to have help getting in the truck.
