Last Day of ML. Anyone Going?

My son and I will. He has yet to get his deer, which he has been holding out for a buck. We could not get out today as we had family commitments. He will be out with his muzzleloader and I still have one archery tag left so I will be out as well. I am only hunting antlers as I took a very good sized doe last Saturday with my ML tag.

Last day came and went. My son and I saw 4. Two does and two bucks. I saw the two does and he saw a 4 pointer and spike. I was out with my bow and he his muzzleloader. I decided to call it quits for the season even though I have an archery license. So we are putting stuff away till opening day of 2010!

Between me and my boys we put five deer in freezer this year. We gave one away to my cousin, but we should have enough to til we get into late summer or early fall 2010.

A very good season indeed.
