So my wife, who has been hunting for only a few years got a letter in the mail from the DNR the other day. It's a request that she take part in a survey of the wildlife she sees when hunting through Oct and into Nov... They even sent along a really nifty sheet to hang on the fridge and keep track of how many deer, coyotes, turkeys, red /gray squirrels, bobcats etc...
Has anybody else ever gotten one of these? I thought it was kind of cool to be part of the info collecting process, while at the same time I was kind of miffed that my wife got picked when she only started hunting. (silly, I know)
anyway, just thought it was kind of cool.

Not this year, but I have received them twice in the past.
