i have a piebald buck (spike) he's 1.5 yrs old. i hear different things about piebalds, like get him out of the herd. i fing them quite cool to have roaming the property, what do you think are there genetics bad to be spreading threw herd?

There is nothing wrong with a piebald deer. We have a whole herd of piebalds running around our suburban neighborhood. The original was a doe that wandered in back in 2001. One of her descendants is a whopping 16 pointer. I occasionally run into piebalds at the farm as well-- no big deal.

One of my hunting buds got a pie bald on game cam. It's a pic of a doe w two fawns. One is normal the other a pie bald. We are all interested to watch it grow up.
