They're crazy about not attending, too. There is a Facebook page pushing a boycott of the show, and over 10,000 people "like" it (more than like the ESOS Facebook page.) If all 10,000 people represent a 1-day ticket at $14.00, that's a loss of $140,000. Realistically, more than 10,000 people will boycott it. And if early show goers come out with negative reports, the attendance through the week is likely to fall off.
The number of known exhibitors who have decided not to go is somewhere around 200, and the show is still 10-days away. Most of the event speakers have decided not to go: Tiffany & Lee, Pat & Nicole, Shockey, and many, many more. Cabelas pulled out as a major sponsor early. The two other major sponsors are the Outdoor Channel and Progressive Insurance. This is a big deal in and around PA -- it's the biggest consumer show of it's kind.
