Now that's quite cool to see. I had something like that happen to me one year but I wasnt as calm as these people.
I was walking into the woods on opening morning well before first light and around the base of a hill. I thought i heard crunching coming down the hill and didn't want another hunter mistaking me for a deer so i shined my flashlight in the direction of the crunching.
well--it was a small buck going through the thickets, coming right in my direction.
I scared it and it jumped straight up over the thicket and towards me.
I ran and got a small tree between me and "IT".
He came at me sort of "half -ass" as if he was a bully kind of thing.
I was shaking thinking that I was going to get speared by an antler in the dark.
after the deer took off almost immediately in the direction I walked in from (probably within 50 ft of my truck)
I could do nothing but laugh out loud. Scared at first, but what are the odds? it's hard enough to see a buck during the day but have one almost walk into you at night?
Oh the memories!
